Each year, crowds gather to witness the fishermen versus the firemen football match followed by a fancy dress raft race from the harbour quayside. For the football match, teams meet next to the Lloyds TSB on Newborough from 10am with tunes from The Comic Band, then walk down to South Bay’s beach for the kick-off at 10.30am.
